Pencils

Ok, let me start by saying - I'm not getting paid for this. But this has to be just about the best thing since the pencil was invented.

 Because it does this:

If you read my previous post {this one right HERE}, you know that I had a little situation with a pencil sharpener at school.

So because of the little situation with the pencil sharpener, I just decided to cough up the $$ and buy the quietest pencil sharpener. It's been great. I Do Not Let Kids Touch It! But it doesn't take me very long to sharpen about half the class' pencils, and I can talk to the kid while I sharpen their pencil. It's a win-win.

This is not a commercial - I'm just so happy about something that works so nice. {However, if you want to look into this for yourself, just google Quietest Pencil Sharpener.}

What's working in your world? Want to share??

  1. Hey Sara, I love that pencil sharpener! Mine is blue. The only thing I dislike about it is having to attach it to something. I do wish it could be attached to the wall. I have mine attached to a book shelf and kids are not allowed to use it! I sharpen a basket of pencils every morning and kids get one when they come in the door. They exchange pencils during the day if they need to! It works great! (But now I wish I had that pink one!)

    1. Hmmm Carol - mine doesn't have to be attached to anything. It has little rubber things on the bottom. It scoots around a little, but not much.
      I Love the pink one - but of course, pink is my favorite color!

  2. Pencil sharpener love going on. I have two blue ones. I have allowed my kids to use them, and it works most of the time. I wonder about sharpening a basketful...

  3. I love mine! I do wish there was a better way to attach it to something. I usually just hold it in place which is kind of a hassle, but it still is a great sharpener!

    1. I haven't had much trouble with not having it attached to anything. And right now the kids are just so amazed by it. Lol.

  4. I have the same problem as your other buddies here. The clamp that came with it doesn't work, so I have to hold the sharpener down in order to use it. The pencils are perfectly perfect though.
